My Selections for March 09

Pictured above are a few of my paintings thus far. I have given myself themes for each month, but I find myself being inspired by everything around me. Some evenings it maybe as much as three themes in one night! And I still don't know how I am finding the energy to produce this work. In the end I know my love for art and all things creative has a lot to do with it. I hope you too enjoy the work uploaded this month. Oh, my theme for this month is 'Collage and Colour'. PAINTINGS IN PROGRESSION

My Progress, My Love, My 'Obsession'.

My Progress is at the moment a labour of LOVE. My sketch book is my thoughts, my concepts etc before I brave colour on that canvas, and once I start I find It hard to stop! I am in the middle of a book at present of which I find myself reading when I eventually give myself a break. It was during one of these breaks I came across these words.. 'You will only succeed when your assignment becomes an obsession'. I paused for a long while on those words and found myself feeling even more happier with myself that I decided to pick up on my talents again. So I say this, What are your talents? What are your dreams? or better yet what does the future hold. I am of the belief that only YOU hold the answers.
